Pushups for Optimum Strength

Pushups, the everlasting exercise, have been performed since the ancient times to prove strength and endurance; from the military to the bodybuilders, everyone is doing pushups nowadays, be it for the abs or for work.

Man doing push upPushups are an awesome exercise for its simplicity and easy access; you do not need a gym membership or any equipment.

Pushups work on many muscle groups and provide you with the ultimate workout. If you think pushups are easy and you're looking for more challenge, you can always try press ups – commonly known as military pushups.

Look slim, feel beautiful

For a proper press up, your back and legs should be spread straight and off the floor. You can use chairs, benches, or any stool to create a more challenging pushup, but be advised that it's not preferable to raise your legs much higher than your shoulder line since you could get dizzy or nauseous.

The key is to start gradually and be very careful not to push yourself beyond your fitness level. For someone starting off or overweight, start with 5 reps and build gradually.

Make sure to keep your back straight and opt for a minute holding position to build your endurance.
