A helping hand to get all the necessary vitamins, why is that such a bad idea?


It is vital that our bodies get all of the nutrients it needs in order to function correctly. Our bodies are like finely tuned machines, they need fuel in order to function correctly. Health is quite difficult, you have to treat your body like a temple, which takes time.

Our body can get all of the required nutrients from a balanced diet, however if this is not possible you could look into nutrient supplements.

A report in 1940 studied the nutrients contained in spinach, they noticed that over a period of time the number of nutrients actually declined. The scientists put this down to the soil becoming depleted. As the number of nutrients declined, it made it more and more difficult to get all of the required nutrients. You would actually have to eat more spinach to get the required nutrients. This is why nutrient supplements may seem quite attractive.


What types of Multivitamins are there?

There are four different types of multivitamins that you can buy, including:


  • A capsule
  • A tablet
  • Soft gel
  • Liquid

Which type you take is mainly up to you. The easiest form of multivitamin for your body to take is the liquid multivitamins. This is because your body does not have to break anything down.


If you do not get on with liquids, then you could also consider using soft gels or capsules. Tablets are the hardest things for your body to break down.


Many people say that supplements are very expensive and unnecessary. That is true, you do not really need supplements if you can eat a healthy balanced diet, however if you can't then you should defiantly consider them.


Nutrients are cheaper than soda, cigarettes and many of the other things that you enjoy! Plus they are good for your health, so perhaps you should give them a go.


You do not have to spend a fortune on nutrients, you can buy supermarket own brands, and although they may not be as good as the brand names they are better than nothing. Search on the internet to decide which type of multivitamin would suit you best.
