One of the best selling fat burning products on the market at the moment is Hydroxycut. This product is manufactured by Muscle Tech, and they have spent a fortune advertising this product. I'm sure you've seen their advert, although it is cleverly disguised as a supplement. If you've looked at a magazine in the last couple of years then I'll bet that you've seen at least one of their adverts. This is the main reason why it's so popular, people are aware of it.

The first product produced by muscle tech contained Ephedra. When Ephedra was banned by the FDA this product was withdrawn from sale. I can't find out why the Ephedra free version of hydroxycut was also removed from sale, however if you read the complaints it doesn't leave much left to fill in.

Hydroxycut Hardcore

Hydroxycut Hardcore is considered to be a safe method of burning fat, there have however been many different reincarnations of hydroxycut in the past.

This latest version, Hydroxycut Hardcore is in all essence a caffeine pill that has some extra ingredients thrown in. These tablets contain a very high amount of caffeine. The recommended dosage of the product contains the same amount of caffeine as 3 cups of coffee!

The other ingredients are labelled as a proprietary blend, the main reason for them doing this is so that you cant find out how much of each ingredient is included. You know what is in the pill, but you are unable to know how much of each thing is inside it. This gives many companies the incentive to include a very tiny amount of special ingredients just to impress people that actually read the label. I expect this is exactly what they do, and basically it is just a caffeine pill.

Ingredients

There are a number of different ingredients in Hydroxycut Hardcore, we won't bother looking at the ingredients contained in the proprietary blend, however we will look into the Caffeine, Green Tea, and Yohimbe.

Caffeine & Green Tea. The amounts of these ingredients will increase your metabolism, energy along with your heart rate, anxiety level which will most likely to give you a stomach ache and the jitters. Some people like that feeling some don't.

Yohimbe. There is no documentation or studies done that show that Yohimbe encourages weight loss. There have been studies done that show that Yohimbe may have a negative side effect on nursing or pregnant women, people with high blood pressure or kidney disease.

Hydroxycut hardcore contains a lot of caffeine and green tea. Both of these products combined have shown success at being an effective fat burner. There are some side effects which we will look at below, if you are at all worried about any of these I suggest you stay well away from Hydroxycut Hardcore. The best thing about Hydroxycut Hardcore is actually the name.

Hydroxycut Hardcore Side Effects

Caffeine is a stimulant and so can result in an increase in both blood pressure and heart rate. If you do experience caffeine sensitivity then it is best not to use this product. You should not drink or consume anything containing caffeine while you are taking the drug. Hydroxycut Hardcore already contains more than the RDA of caffeine.

The ingredients (namely caffeine) can cause headaches and light headedness.

Hydroxycut Hardcore reduces your appetite, although this can be a positive side effect as you are taking the pill to reduce your fat.

Hyperactivity and restlessness can be caused due to caffeine and green tea. Other synthetic ingredients are designed to make caffeine and green tea much more effective.

The pill can also cause discoloured and/or frequent bowel movements.

It is important to carefully read and follow all of the directions when taking this product. If you think you can cope with the side effects, then it could be the pill that you are looking for. Most of these side effects are slight, and you would probably experience similar side effects by drinking a few espressos.
